Software Engineer, Android Core Product - Deltona, USA
The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechifys text-to-speech products help users turn reading material into audio to read faster, read more, and remember more. Our Android app is a key part of this experience, and we are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to support growth and develop new projects.
We are a flat organization that values leadership through technical excellence, fast delivery, strong communication, and a winning mindset. Our interview process involves several technical interviews and aims to be completed within 1 week.
What Youll Do
- Own major features and work closely with design to deliver high-quality features inside the Android app
- Shape the future of our Android team
- Own, maintain, and improve reliability metrics for key features
- Collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering groups
- Review pull requests and support teammates
- Handle critical issues and unexpected challenges
- Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for QA

Salary : United States Based salary range for this role is 140,000-200,000 USD / year + bonus + stock depending on experience.
