Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Okta / Auth0 Engineer to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable identity solutions focused on customer authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of security, usability, and innovation, and is passionate about delivering seamless identity experiences across diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement Okta SSO and MFA integrations for both internal and customer-facing applications 1.

Design and configure identity federation using protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 1 2.

Build and maintain reusable Okta workflows aligned with security standards and user experience goals 1.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—developers, product managers, and stakeholders—to scope and deliver secure access management solutions 1.

Manage identity onboarding journeys, ensuring consistent and intuitive experiences across multiple app integrations 1.

Support customer identity and access management (CIAM) initiatives, including adaptive authentication and API security 2.

Required Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud, including SSO, MFA, and Universal Directory 1.

Strong knowledge of authentication protocols : SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM.

Experience with Auth0 (Okta CIC) for customer identity flows and external IdP integrations 2.

Familiarity with automation scripting (Python, JavaScript, Terraform) and tools like Okta Workflows 3.

Ability to work in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple stakeholders and integrations 1.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP, HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS) and Zero Trust architectures 2 3.

Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, or other IAM / PAM platforms 4.

Okta Certified Developer or similar credentials.
