About the Unit :

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center's Level III NICU is a 19-bed unit providing 24 / 7 care for premature and critically ill newborns. Staffed by experienced neonatologists, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, the unit delivers comprehensive care using the latest medical technologies and evidence-based practices.

We are seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team. This position is ideal for professionals who are confident working in a high-acuity environment and are skilled in neonatal critical care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and assess the condition of neonatal patients
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other prescribed therapies
• Operate and maintain specialized NICU equipment (e.g., ventilators, incubators)
• Provide feedings, including NG / G-tube or bottle / breast milk support
• Assist with or perform medical procedures (e.g., intubation, CPR, PICC line insertion)
• Communicate clearly with neonatologists and care teams
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Support and educate families throughout the infant's NICU stay
