Job Responsibilities :

• Coverage Type

Call only coverage

• Full spectrum OB / GYN care, including both inpatient and outpatient services
• Round on assigned patients, ensuring continuity of care
• Patient Load

Manage up to 25 patients per shift

• Work within a department with 20 beds dedicated to OB / GYN services
• Procedures

Perform admissions as required

• Provide comprehensive OB / GYN services, including labor and delivery, prenatal care, and gynecological surgeries as needed

Candidate Requirements :

• Licensure

Must be licensed in Alabama

• Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
• Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• Board Certification

Minimum requirement is board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Fellowship is not required
