All professionals in this role will need to rotate to cover the Cath Lab. The Cath Lab has a patient ratio of 1 : 1 in the procedure room with one case at a time. The equipment includes GE X-ray systems. Responsibilities include working with a multidisciplinary team. The environment requires clear and concise communication skills. Individuals must be detail-oriented and possess troubleshooting capabilities. Weekend call is required for 1-2 weekends during the 6-week schedule. Call requirements include evenings and overnight shifts during the week. The ideal candidate will have experience working with structural heart cases. Dress code is hospital-provided scrubs. No unacceptable attire is permitted. This role is in an academic setting known for advanced heart care treatment. The facility has a history of numerous medical firsts and innovations. Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services are also provided. Preferred characteristics include a team-oriented and flexible approach to care.
