Job description

Seeking a Controls Engineer with PLC programming, design and troubleshooting experience. This is a permanent position in the Rockford, MI area.

Responsibilities :

Provide electrical solutions for automation equipment.
Design and program PLC and HMI software to meet requirements.
Program and troubleshoot automation machines.
Assist with start-up and technical support.
Project Engineer comprehensive electrical systems from start to finish.
Commission new machinery and retrofit existing machinery.

Requirements :

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.

4 plus years of programming PLCs and HMIs.

Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.

Experience with programming and integrating servos, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.

AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus.

Able to work independently as well as within a team.

Close attention to detail and accuracy.

Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.

$38 – 45 / hour depending on experience level.
