Global Head Of Investment Research And Risk Technology

State Street Investment Management ("State Street IM", formerly State Street Global Advisors or SSGA) is seeking a seasoned senior leader to oversee our investment research and risk technology strategy. This role reports to the State Street IM Global Head of Investments Technology and Business Services and is part of the GA Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization. This position will be based out of Boston or Stamford.

As the Global Head of Investment Research and Risk Technology, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for the tools and platformsboth proprietary and third-partythat support the investment models, research, performance and risk analytics. You will act as a key strategic partner to investment research teams, risk oversight, and portfolio managers, while also serving as a critical liaison to enterprise architecture, data teams, and external vendors across the firm. This role requires a deep understanding of investment research workflows, risk analytics, and emerging technologies including AI / ML, digital, advanced analytics, and cloud-native capabilities.

Leadership & Strategy

• Define and lead the global technology strategy for investment research and risk platforms, aligning with State Street IM's investment philosophy and evolving product mix.
• Collaborate with Investments, Portfolio Management, Research, and COO leadership to align the technology roadmap with business goals and research efficiency priorities.
• Serve as the accountable executive for the delivery, resilience, and scalability of research and risk tooling.

Salary Range : $170,000 - $282,500 Annual
