Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Mechanical Engineer . You’ll support the design and development of products from concept through prototyping and production. The role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, with a focus on CAD modeling, prototyping, and problem-solving.
Day-to-day tasks include :
- Creating and refining 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings.
- Assisting in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
- Supporting senior engineers with tolerance analysis, DFM, and documentation.
- Collaborating with industrial designers to ensure design intent matches engineering feasibility.
- Preparing BOMs and supporting vendor communications for prototypes and parts.
- Participating in brainstorming and design reviews to contribute ideas and solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or working toward completion if recently graduated).0–3 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or project-based experience acceptable).Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent).Understanding of materials, prototyping methods, and basic DFM principles.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, design-driven environment .Preferred but not required :
Hands-on prototyping or shop experience (3D printing, machining, etc.).Exposure to consumer products, electronics, or medical devices.Familiarity with electrical systems or mechatronics a plus.What We Offer
