Job descriptionLead a team of nurses and caregivers in the L&D unit Work closely with doctors, midwives, anesthesiologists, and NICU teams Ensure the unit provides safe, high-quality, and respectful care Support and train staff to grow professionally Make sure the unit meets health and safety standards Help with hiring and staff schedules Work on improvements to care quality, especially around diversity, equity, and inclusion Participate in projects that improve how care is delivered and measured
This role is for someone who wants to lead and manage the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit at a large hospital. That's the department where babies are born and mothers receive care before, during, and after childbirth.
What They're Looking For :
- A Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of recent L&D experience
- Someone who has led teams before (as a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager)
- Ideally, someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Passionate about teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement
