This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact engineering team responsible for developing a modern, scalable, and extensible SaaS platform. You will drive both technical and product roadmaps, ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and customer-focused solutions. Accountabilities

  • Attract, hire, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
  • Lead and execute technical and product roadmaps, partnering with stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
  • Champion high code quality, architectural excellence, and scalable, resilient systems.
  • Drive the delivery of platform components, APIs, microservices, and extensible frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of customer and product focus within the team.
  • Mentor team members and promote best practices in software engineering and SaaS delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, reliability, and performance of solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, and delivering multiple software products / releases, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • 4+ years of experience managing teams of 6+ engineers, successfully delivering multiple product milestones.
  • Strong experience building scalable distributed systems in public or private cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of REST, API design patterns, microservices, and software extensibility through SDKs / plugins.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration, CI / CD pipelines, and modern deployment models.
  • BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience with tech stacks such as Java, Golang, NoSQL databases, Apache Kafka, caching technologies like Redis, and authentication / authorization frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
