Senior Mobile Engineer – Android

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Mobile Developer to join our Application Engineering team. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing Android applications . You'll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to craft engaging and scalable mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using established coding standards.
• Participate in the complete application lifecycle : concept, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Debug issues, resolve bugs, and optimize app performance.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure application robustness and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote code quality across the team.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies.
• Implement best practices to ensure security and performance .
• Adhere to mobile app data protection standards.

Required Experience :

years of experience in native mobile app development.

Proven expertise in Native Android Development using Kotlin and Java.

Strong background in Android libraries with Gradle / Maven.

Experience with unit testing and Android test frameworks.

Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party integrations.

Familiarity with Agile development and CI / CD practices.

Strong track record of collaborating with designers and UX teams.

Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Experience in cross-platform frameworks (iOS, Flutter, React Native).

Familiarity with Bluetooth protocols and standards (, Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, iAP).

Background in test-driven development and agile workflows.

Understanding of Google Play policies.

Experience working with remote and distributed teams.
