Entry-Level Transmission Line Design Engineer

POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Entry-Level Transmission Line Design Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Underground Transmission Line Department in our Foxborough, Massachusetts office.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of underground transmission line design for new lines, relocations and upgrades.

Required Education / Experience :

BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) or BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) degree from an ABET-accredited university

The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel

Experience with technical report writing through either academic or previous career opportunities

Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

Engineering in Training (EIT) certification or willingness to pursue certification

Desired Education / Experience :

Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and / or structural engineering, is desirable

Experience using AutoCAD software

Minimum 2.8 Grade Point Average (GPA)

POWER is a fun engineering firm. That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for us!

Base Salary Range : $65,000-$82,000 per year

The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
