Hallway Specialist
The Hallway Specialist is responsible for ensuring all guest corridors, elevator landings, service areas, and public walkways in guestroom wings are kept clean, organized, and visually appealing. This role supports the housekeeping team by maintaining hallways free of trash, linens, and clutter, restocking service closets, and assisting room attendants with logistical needs. The Hallway Specialist is essential to upholding the resort's image of luxury and attention to detail, creating a polished and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Shift & Schedule Availability : Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate : $16 $17 / hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Maintain hallways, stairwells, and elevator foyers in pristine condition by vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and spot-cleaning surfaces.
Remove trash, soiled linens, and guest service debris promptly to maintain a polished environment.
Restock and organize housekeeping supply closets to ensure room attendants have what they need for efficiency.
Support room attendants by delivering linens, towels, and amenities to guest floors.
Respond to guest requests or direct them promptly to the appropriate department.
Ensure hallways remain clutter-free by relocating housekeeping carts, trays, and supplies to designated areas.
Assist with deep-cleaning projects such as shampooing carpets, polishing metal fixtures, or scrubbing stairwells.
Inspect corridor lighting, signage, and safety features, reporting issues to engineering.
Follow safety and sanitation standards in line with resort policies and OSHA requirements.
Deliver warm, courteous interactions when working in guest-facing areas.
Other duties as assigned.
Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial work preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently while supporting a larger team.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred (for operating resort golf carts & vehicles if needed).
