Software Test Analyst 3 – Enterprise QA Team (Hybrid, Lansing, MI)
2 days per week on site (Tues / Weds)
We’re looking for an experienced Software Test Analyst to support enterprise-level application development and maintenance across multiple business units within a large public-sector technology organization. This position plays a key role on the Enterprise Quality Assurance (QA) team, contributing to both project-based testing and ongoing operational support activities.
This role offers a hybrid work schedule (remote with on-site presence in Lansing, MI approximately two days per week).
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Validate test results, record outcomes, and track testing metrics across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure that all system requirements are testable and accurately met.
- Perform preliminary accessibility (ADA / WCAG 2.1 AA) and usability testing for web and mobile systems.
- Review and triage application security scan results to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Manage defects and issue tracking through standard QA tools and document resolution steps.
- Advocate for best practices in secure development, data handling, and software quality standards.
- Support both internal and vendor-delivered solutions through consistent QA oversight and communication.
Requirements
5+ years of experience writing and executing manual test cases.5+ years of experience with defect tracking and test management tools.5+ years validating test results and maintaining test documentation.5+ years communicating testing status and issues with cross-functional project teams.2+ years of ADA accessibility testing experience (WCAG 2.1 AA standards).2+ years of experience reviewing and triaging security vulnerability scans.Preferred Skills

Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of general QA experience where they wrote and executed manual test cases - Minimum of 5 years experience with defect tracking and management, as well as validating test results, tracking testing metrics, and communicating test / defect activities with project team and customers - Minimum of 2 years testing ADA accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) - Minimum of 2 years reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results
