UPMC Hamot, located in Erie, Pennsylvania has a new opportunity for a diverse Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established practice offering the full spectrum of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures-from liver and kidney cancer therapies to advanced vascular and biliary interventions. Utilizing state of the art CT, MRI, ultrasound, and angiographic technology, youll help deliver cutting edge, patient-centered care in partnership with the renowned UPMC Hamot Hilman Cancer Center.

Balanced Role : Primarily Interventional Radiology procedures with rotations into Diagnostic Radiology. Regional Interventional Radiology clinics required- all within driving distance to Erie County.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging : Includes CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Diagnostic Radiology. The Interventionalist primarily covers the ED list when assigned.

Interventional Procedures : Angiography, angioplasty, bone marrow biopsy, embolization, IVC filters, TACE, ablation, mediport placement, biliary / nephrostomy drainage, feeding tube insertion, nerve blocks, epidural injections, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, etc.

Call Coverage : Weekday Evening Coverage 1 : 4, Weekend Coverage 1 : 4

Qualifications :

MD / DO from an accredited medical school

American Board Eligible, American Board Certified or Canadian Board Certified in Interventional Radiology, with strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging and the ability to perform a broad range of general radiology procedures

Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials

DEA certification
