Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Level II for a travel nursing job in Geneva, New York.

Opportunity : RN - Acute Care

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour shifts on a per diem basis
  • Two years acute hospital experience as an RN required
  • One year ED hospital experience as an RN required
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI)
  • NYS RN licensure required
  • Apply nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care
  • Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priorities
  • Provide direct care, apply appropriate interventions, and evaluate patient progress
  • Utilize various invasive and non-invasive procedures and therapeutic interventions
  • Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations
  • Conduct triage and assign priority of care in accordance with ESI training standards
  • Perform primary and secondary assessments for patients of all age groups
  • Assess physiological, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families
  • Document and report any suspicion of domestic violence or abuse
  • Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Provide discharge education and evaluate patient understanding
  • Maintain patient communication boards throughout ED stay
