Job Description & Requirements

Unit Description :

Trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal vents, stroke care 1 : 5 for SD / PCU; 1 : 6 if floated to acute care. MSD cares for PD patients, CSD cares for stroke patients, SSD cares for surgical patients. Float : within specialty / Elmer

Experience and Requirements :

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on a Step Down / PCU unit.
  • Specialty : Must be true STEP-DOWN RN- M / S tele are not accepted
  • Weekend : Every other
  • License : NJ or compact
  • Certs : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA only)

    • Nurse must be willing to float to ED Hold and other units within the specialty.
