Process Automation Engineer

JobPurpose :

Support plant transition into a Smart Factory via automation of specific areas.

Nature ofDuties / Responsibilities :

The responsibilities including but not limited to the following listed activities. Identify and implement automation opportunities to bridge the plant to a more autonomous, quality compliant with best practices environment; both in a mechanical and digital sense. Observe the manufacturing lines and propose and implement Robotic automation solutions and justify the financial impact for spending capital investment on such opportunities. Provide the base ground into automating the reports generation process among within the engineering team and among the different departments; and in doing so unifying their outputs. Continuous process improvements projects ( Kaizen) to streamline flow and alleviate bottlenecks throughout the factory by monitoring resources capacity; both machines and labor, using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) approach, set up DOEs and write reports / presentations. Write validations protocols IQ / OQ / PQ and execute test reports for product line and supporting sw and hw infrastructure. Coordinate time study, line balancing and other process improvement related projects, and write reports. In concert with quality organization, ensures that customer requirements are implemented and met.

Qualifications Required :

• The ideal candidate must possess ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• BSin Engineering Discipline (MS preferred) with minimum two years experience supporting automation projects
• The position requires working knowledge of automated pick-and-place machines, reflow oven profiling, stencil printing equipment
• Understanding SPC, PFMEA, DOE is required.
• Experience in providing technical leadership and training to production teams
• Familiar with process and equipment validations unitizing IQ / OQ / PQ methodology

Salary Range(annual) : $90,000 - $115,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
