Mechanic Internship - Diesel and Heavy Equipment

We are seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic Intern with an interest in diesel engines and heavy equipment. This hands-on internship provides real-world experience working alongside experienced mechanics, gaining practical skills in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diesel technology, automotive, or related program (preferred)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and equipment
• Support diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow safety procedures and shop standards
• Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and shop technology
