Python Engineer with AWS Experience (Remote - US)

The Python Engineer with AWS Experience will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining API endpoints and integrations for a large-scale national platform. This position involves designing, testing, and deploying solutions in an agile environment, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to high-level architecture decisions, and document technical solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced development setting, brings strong Python and AWS expertise, and has experience managing high-traffic systems. This role offers the opportunity to impact national-level communications while working on complex, data-intensive applications. Candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for a federal "public trust" security clearance.

Accountabilities

• Develop, test, and debug API endpoints and integrations in Python within an agile framework.
• Collaborate with internal, partner, and client teams to design, implement, and review technical solutions.
• Participate in daily scrums and support continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Document changes, create playbooks, and maintain technical knowledge for ongoing support.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and communicate rationale to the engineering team.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve platform challenges, optimizing for high-volume data processing.
• Build relationships with cross-department teams, partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
