The Role
Sofar Ocean builds and deploys thousands of low-cost, global, open ocean sensors to remote and harsh environments, and we're growing! We're seeking an Inventory & Warehouse Lead to join our Supply Chain team. This role combines hands-on expertise in warehouse management with advanced shipping and logistics skills, ensuring smooth movement of materials and finished goods both domestically and internationally.
You are an organized, hands-on multitasker who enjoys wearing many hats in a small and fast-moving team. You'll play a core role in managing inventory levels, incoming receiving, inventory control, assisting with cycle counts, pick / pack, fulfillment and shipping, along with a variety of other tasks to support the supply chain and production teams.
This role would work onsite from our Pier 28 location in San Francisco, CA. Typical hours are 7 : 30am - 4 : 30pm, reporting to Sofar's Supply Chain Manager.
