District Bridge Engineer (Transportation Engineer I, II, III, or IV) - Atlanta, TX

Transportation Engineer I, II, III, or IV needed to oversee the maintenance of bridges that connect communities across the 9-county Atlanta District. The successful candidate will apply advanced engineering principles to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with state and federal standards.

Responsibilities :

• Perform transportation engineering work in one or more functional areas such as planning, project development and design, construction, transportation / traffic operations and / or maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Work requires contact with governmental officials and private entities.
