Work Settings & Required Skills The Cath Lab Tech will be working in the CCL IR (Cath Lab Tech) unit and must be proficient in a wide range of cardiac procedures and skills, including : Procedural Skills : Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult) Left and Right Heart Catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) Rotablader athrectomy Cardiac Implant Closure Device Cardiac Stent Placement IABP Placement / Removal Technical & Clinical Skills : Interpretation of dysrhythmias Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Scrub Procedures (maintaining a sterile field) Room Circulator duties Equipment set up Infection Control / Sterile Technique Patient Age Groups : Middle Adult and Older Adult. Additional Contract Details Float : Floating is required. Local Candidates : Locals are accepted if residing outside 50 miles of the facility, but will be paid at a reduced rate (Local Pay share upon request). Housing Exclusion : Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel package. Modules : Modules are billable for up to 5 hours of time spent pre-start.
