Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Room setting

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changing patient conditions

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
