Front-End Cashier- Part Time

The primary function of the Front-End Cashier is to ensure that each customer that comes into Breadroot Co-op has a clean, positive, and enjoyable experience when shopping at the Co-op. Cashiers are expected to exemplify outstanding customer service and engage with every customer during each shift, and to be knowledgeable and passionate on the benefits of a Local Co-op. Front-End Cashiers are expected to be outgoing, happy individuals who care about their community and want to share the vision of our Co-op.

Responsibilities for the front-end cashiers are, but are not limited to, customer service, cash register operation, stocking, facing, and cleaning.

Hours currently needed : Part-Time 16-24 hours per week; Shifts are typically 11 : 00am-7 : 15PM. Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 30lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and up to 75lbs with team-lifting.
• This position can be physically demanding. Must be able to bend, flex, squat, stand, walk, climb stairs, twist, turn and all other forms of bodily motion.
• Can be in a standing position for up to six-eight hours.
