Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Endoscopy Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Endoscopy Tech - Local Contract | Sugar Land, TX Location : 17500 West Grand Parkway South, Sugar Land, TX 77479 ⏱️ Contract Length : 13 Weeks Pay Rate : $27.50 / hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician for a 13-week local contract at a leading healthcare facility in Sugar Land, TX. The ideal candidate will assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures and ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment for patient care. Key Responsibilities Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all endoscopy equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and functional. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and other related procedures. Handle and maintain endoscopic scopes and accessories according to infection control protocols. Set up, test, and operate endoscopy equipment before and during procedures. Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after procedures under supervision of the nursing staff. Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage. Maintain inventory of supplies and report any equipment issues promptly. Adhere to facility and regulatory safety and infection prevention standards. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
