Contract School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA / BCBA-D)
Phaxis is seeking a Contract School-Based BCBA (or BCBA-D) to support a center-based special education preschool program (ages 3–5 ) in Pelham, NY and surrounding areas for the remainder of the 2024–2025 academic year, ESY , and the 2025–2026 academic year. You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside teachers, OTs, PTs, SLPs, school psychologists, and families.

Position Details
Title : Contract School-Based BCBA (BCBA / BCBA-D)
Location : Pelham, NY (center-based; in-person)
Caseload : Preschool students (ages 3–5) in specialized classrooms
Duration : 2024–2025 School Year, ESY, 2025–2026 School Year
Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday, regular school hours
Pay Range : $85–$115+ per hour (based on credentials / experience / schedule)
Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned to IEP goals.
Provide direct / indirect ABA services, analyze data, and ensure treatment fidelity.
Coach and train classroom staff (paras / assistants) on proactive strategies, data collection, and de-escalation.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (OT / PT / SLP / psych) to integrate ABA supports across routines and therapies.
Lead or participate in family training , contribute to IEP meetings, and provide clear progress updates.
Maintain compliant, timely documentation (session notes, progress reports, quarterly summaries).
Uphold NYS LBA scope of practice and school / agency policies.
Requirements
New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) (required)
BCBA or BCBA-D certification (required)
Experience with early childhood / preschool populations, autism, and developmental disabilities preferred
Strong skills in data-driven decision making, classroom collaboration, and staff / family coaching
Familiarity with augmentative supports and visual systems (as appropriate for preschool settings) is a plus
Spanish bilingual skills a plus (not required)
