This is a local Lapeer-based company seeking Hydromat Machine Operators. 1st and 2nd Shift available, Mon-Sat, pay is based on experience, starting at $15 per hour.

Job Description :

Operation of a rotary transfer machine is an asset. Previous machine experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. This position requires mechanical aptitude and ability to do math, measurements and use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers). Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be looking for long-term work.

Job Responsibilities Requirements :

• Measure dimensions of finished work to ensure specifications are met.
• Loads aluminum bars on bar feeder and load into machine.
• Clear chips from machining areas and sift hoppers.
• High level of quality control.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Must have some long-term previous work history.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to stand at workstations for 10-12 hours if necessary.
• Some lifting may be required.
