AUTOMOTIVE SALES ASSOCIATE
Location: Oakes Kia | North Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Saturday with one weekday off each week
Compensation: $75,000–$175,000 annually (salary + commission structure)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an ambitious, people-focused Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team. This role centers on building relationships, helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs, and delivering a smooth, professional sales experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to create lasting clientele

• Use consultative selling skills to ask questions, understand needs, and guide customers to the right vehicle

• Develop strong product knowledge and stay up to date on features, packages, and technology

• Perform high-quality demonstrations of new and used vehicles

• Follow up with customers to support referrals and repeat business

• Overcome objections and handle sales conversations with professionalism

• Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to review goals, performance, and opportunities

• Bring a positive attitude and consistent effort to every workday

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by goals and personal success. You should feel confident talking with customers, learning product details quickly, and maintaining a professional presence. Ambition, communication skills, and a strong work ethic will take you far in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass a standard background check

• Strong reliability and consistent attendance

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

• Strong communication skills and a professional, well-groomed appearance

• Sales or customer service experience preferred

• Self-starter mentality and ability to learn quickly
