About the Role

The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Director of Cloud Security who will take the lead in shaping and executing our cloud security strategy in alignment with risk management practices, regulatory requirements, and enterprise transformation initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for the security posture of our multi-cloud environments, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, and serverless architectures.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the careful selection, implementation, and lifecycle management of cloud security tools and platforms, while embedding security principles into workload designs and identity frameworks. You will govern the establishment of secure configuration baselines, make key decisions regarding identity federation, and drive continuous risk monitoring across our cloud infrastructure.

To succeed, you should bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in security leadership, with at least 5 years specifically concentrated on Azure cloud security. A proven record in developing and scaling enterprise cloud security programs, a deep understanding of Azure security services, and strong expertise in Zero Trust, identity governance, DevSecOps, and cloud-native detection and response is essential.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS, especially within a financial or highly regulated environment, is crucial. As the Director of Cloud Security, you will lead and mentor a team of skilled cloud security engineers, collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive lifecycle protection, and educate business leaders on cloud security risks to facilitate informed decision-making.
