Veterinary Assistant Full Time

Pouncey Tract Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and collaborative team. We are proud to prioritize medical excellence and compassionate care for our patients.

Location : 5450 Pouncey Tract Road, Glen Allen, VA 23059

Office Hours : Monday Friday : 7 : 30 AM 5 : 30 PM, Saturday : 7 : 30 AM 11 : 30 AM. Schedule includes working 5 days per week, with rotating opening / closing shifts and 12 Saturdays per month.

What We're Looking For :

We are searching for a Veterinary Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of in-hospital experience, who can thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor anesthesia and alert doctors / technicians to abnormalities
• Understand the importance of and reasoning behind vital monitoring
• Act as the air traffic controller of the hospital coordinating workflow and maintaining efficiency
• Collaborate effectively with team members and support a positive workplace culture
