We are a Houston-based property management company actively acquiring and managing multifamily properties throughout the Houston area. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled IT Technician to support our leasing offices and operations team with day-to-day technology needs.
About the Role :
The IT Technician will play a key role in setting up and maintaining the technology infrastructure across multiple multifamily leasing offices. This position involves installing and configuring computers, printers, and network equipment, as well as providing ongoing support for Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and comfortable working independently.
Location Requirement :
- Candidates must live in the Houston area and be available to work onsite . This is not a remote position .
Responsibilities :
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related equipment at leasing offices.Set up and support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues remotely and on-site.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Microsoft 365.Provide end-user support for approximately 150 end users.Coordinate with property and corporate staff to ensure minimal downtime during installations or upgrades.Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation of all installations and service requests.Assist with basic network setup and troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, routers, switches).Provide training on-site staff on basic computer and software use.Travel between Houston area properties as needed.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or IT certifications preferred).2+ years of experience in IT support, field service, or a related role.Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, and Windows operating systems.Experience setting up computers, printers, and basic network devices.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.Experience with Microsoft Intune is preferred but not required.Benefits :
