Assembler - Standard 2nd

Primary Activities / Duties :

• Work with and develop a team effort with the assemblers to continually improve the assembly process to achieve and maintain optimal quality.
• Conduct final and in-process inspection in the assembly area as well as provide feedback to the assemblers.
• Be able to interpret drawings and article text to ensure product conforms with paperwork.
• Be able to learn and pass the written and practical exams to qualify as an inspector.
• Maintain inspector status with annual review / tests to ensure skills are up to date and retained.
• Be able to inspect all major product families (small enclosures, large enclosures, and OEMs).
• Ensure all required check sheets are being used and filled out correctly.
• Be an active member of the RPS teams by offering ideas for continuous improvement.
• Perform inspection duties in a timely manner.
• In short – ensure the process and product meets customer and Rittal standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
