Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologist to the group at N YC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln. The department averages 160 cases are per week, supported by an active and dynamic OB team that performed 1,580 deliveries last year. The hospital boasts 8 main operating rooms (ORs), 2 cystoscopy rooms, 2 labor and delivery ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 interventional radiology room. The case load spans a wide range, primarily bread-and-butter (B&B) cases, but also includes healthy pediatrics, obstetrics, neurology, thoracic, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, and trauma. NYC Health +Hospitals / Lincoln is located just 15 minutes from NYC, and is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University .

Responsibilities

• Determines and prescribes kinds of anesthetics and procedures to be employed in various categories of cases.
• Advises Anesthetists and Surgeons in cases where age or condition of patient presents unusual or complex problems.
• Recommends suitable anesthesia, advises on dosages and consults on post-operative complications.
• Reviews case histories and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Anesthesiology.
• Lectures to and trains Anesthetists, Residents and auxiliary staff.
• Attends clinical conferences.
• Administers anesthesia.
• Performs related work as required.
• 40 hour work week with 1 overnight call per week, no weekend call

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $390,000

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $568,500

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits. Actual total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections.
