Pay Rate : $43.00–$70.00 / hr (Sr Manager Level) | $43.00–$60.00 / hr (Manager Level)
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Total Rewards on a short-term contract to support the People / HR team while they conduct interviews for a long-term hire. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to take ownership of programs, contribute strategic ideas, and work within a collaborative, high-performing team.
Team Structure :
- Direct Reports : 4 (Total Rewards Analyst, People Services / Compliance, People Services Call Center Team – 2)

Position Mission :
The Total Rewards Manager will administer and oversee compensation, benefits, recognition, and equity programs. This role will be integral in planning, developing, and implementing new or revised programs aligned with market trends and corporate goals. Reporting to the VP of People, this position manages day-to-day Total Rewards operations and provides expert guidance to ensure programs are effective, competitive, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and implement Total Rewards programs, staying current with industry trends and best practices.Provide guidance on compensation, including base pay, field-based programs, incentives, equity, and executive compensation.Oversee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and other ancillary benefits.Manage recognition programs, including award programs, incentive trips, and peer-to-peer recognition initiatives.Develop policy and procedure documentation to support program implementation.Perform audits and analyze program data to ensure compliance and effectiveness.Conduct market analysis to inform program design and monitor competitiveness.Lead projects and special initiatives as assigned.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and administering corporate Total Rewards programs.Deep knowledge of FLSA, HIPAA, DOL, EEOC, and other HR regulations.Experience with external market analysis and interpreting market data.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Workday, and compensation survey tools.Desired Attributes :
