APS is now hiring skilled Haul Truck Driver / Compactor / Smooth Drum Roller Operators for our Pensacola, Fl, area.

The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with rollers, and a strong background in various aspects of concrete work. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of paving projects, contributing to the overall success of our construction endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment to compact soil, asphalt, and concrete on construction sites.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure proper paving and finishing of surfaces.
• Assist with the setup and operation of concrete mixers and pumps as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Support rebar installation and concrete forming activities as required.
• Utilize loaders and excavators for material handling and site preparation tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work efforts and address any issues that arise during operations.
