A board eligible or board certified Gastroenterologist is sought by a prestigious academic medical center in Eastern North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have advanced endoscopy fellowship training and expertise in EUS and ERCP, joining a physician-led system with a strong community focus and opportunities for teaching. With a high volume GI practice, state-of-the-art facilities, and a vibrant community close to beautiful beaches, this position offers a compelling work-life balance.

This prestigious academic medical center is seeking a board eligible or board certified Gastroenterologist to join their growing practice located in Eastern North Carolina. Applicants should have fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopy and be proficient in EUS and ERCP.

  • Established practice with 5 experienced gastroenterologists and 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • Ability to teach medical students, residents and GI fellows

  • State of the art outpatient endoscopy center and newly renovated inpatient GI lab inclusive of 20 bays and 3 procedure rooms
  • Inpatient support by experienced hospitalist program and fellows (GI service is a consult service)
