Automotive Technician (8+ years exp)

Ironwood Automotive is a locally-owned and operated Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus and Subaru specialty shop located in Richmond, VA. We have been awarded Best Local Mechanic and Best Automotive Service Shop multiple times since our opening in 2019 and we pride ourselves on our honesty, transparency, efficiency and import expertise.

We are looking to add an experienced 'A' level Automotive Technician to our team. 8+ years of experience in a shop is a must. Honda experience especially is preferred. You should be capable of operating independently in a fast paced shop, prioritizing your own workflow and diagnosing minor and complex issues. Expectations :

• 8+ years of automotive experience required (Japanese import brands strongly preferred)
• Diagnostic experience required
• State Inspectors license required
• ASE certifications nice but not required
• Must have your own tools
• Must be team oriented
• Must be proactive and self-directed
• Must have good organization and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to multi-task and perform under pressure
• Must be proficient in working with computers on a daily basis
• Valid VA drivers license REQUIRED

Benefits :

PAY IS TBD based on experience but would start at no less than $75,000K a year. Our top earners are making $100K+. We are on a flat rate system and pay will be discussed in person.

Employee hours are 7 : 30-5 : 00PM, Monday- Friday (No Weekends!)
