The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include : identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Additional duties involve preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court. The specialist must report hazardous conditions, minimize injury risks, demonstrate integrity, and support store-specific business objectives while maintaining focus on asset protection and operational responsibilities.
