Job Description

The Lead CNC Machinist is considered a Subject Matter Expert for CNC lathe operations. This position acts as a liaison between Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Management, and CNC Machinists to ensure all technical and operational standards are documented, understood, and applied daily.

The role of Lead Machinist is to support achieving quality and productivity expectations for each shifts machinists. The Lead CNC Machinist supports production changeovers and recovery, interprets detailed blueprints, ensures quality, and coaches and trains others to do the same.
