About The Position

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• Charting experience with Epic required
• Skills in GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba imaging systems

Description :

This position requires a CT Tech with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 06 : 30 to 15 : 00.

There is a requirement for on-call duty of 2-4 days per month.

The position does not require weekend shifts.

Block scheduling is required.

The expected patient ratio is 1 : 1.

The facility is a short-term acute care setting with a total of 109 staff beds.

The CT Tech will work with a variety of patient age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily responsibilities will include performing CT scans and radiology-related exams.

Candidates will not float between units.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including services such as IV Teams and Respiratory Services.

Preferred experience includes working in community hospitals.

Special procedures in CT are performed on an emergent basis only.

Candidates must have experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings.

Additional skills include preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs.

All candidates must be able to follow isolation precautions.
