Cancer Registrar
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Cancer Services Manager, interacting with physicians, patients and other hospital staff, supports all of the functions of the Cancer Registry and provides assistance with the functions of the cancer programs.
Minimum Qualifications
§ Education
o Minimum of 2 years of college education related to a health field
§ Experience
o 3+ years of cancer registry experience, preferred
§ Licensure and / or Certification
o CTR certification required
§ Skills
o Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
o Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
o Microsoft office products experience required
