Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources Generalist provides HR support to 600 team members across several locations in Bardstown, KY including a Bottling Hall with 9 production lines, a Distillery, and 2 Distribution Centers. The HR generalist has a wide range of HR duties, with primary responsibilities supporting recruitment, employee relations, and day-to-day HR support in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities include :
- Administer the full-cycle recruitment process for union and non-exempt positions, including but not limited to : reviewing the labor plan, posting positions both internally (via the job bidding process) and externally, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment screening processes, sending offer confirmation and post-acceptance documents
- Lead and improve the new hire orientation and onboarding process for new team members and temporary agency assignments
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS database in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Manage unemployment insurance claims and leave management processes including documentation, communication, and compliance with regulations and required timelines
- Coordinate annual open enrollment benefits processes and new team member enrollment. Research and follow up on benefit-related questions, providing a high level of customer service
- Manage and lead the planning, execution, and communication of engagement activities. Assist with administration of culture survey process. Compiles and analyzes exit interview information to identify trends and summarize results to address cultural trends. Provides knowledgeable and professional guidance to management on team member issues and recommends ways to address
- Administer and provide guidance for company policies and programs. Conduct policy research and draft policy language as requested
- Lead and resolve complex employee / labor relation issues, conducting investigations, and creating solutions for resolution and closure
- Manage special projects related to performance management, talent management, succession planning, process improvements, and organizational development
