Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated electrical engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to support our manufacturing operations and ensure reliable, safe, and efficient performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Create and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across production equipment.
- Perform system testing, validation, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to support projects and production goals.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC).
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
· Maintain compliance with NSF3, UL921 and EPA Energy Star 3.0 requirements. Includes communication with NSF, Intertek, UL and other certification listing agencies.
· Create & maintain any internal facing documentation, specifically for Technical Support team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- 2+ years of relevant engineering experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with industry standards and electrical codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- CAD/AutoCAD Electrical experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical automation systems.
- Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
