Portfolio Optimization : Conduct thorough analysis of the company's product portfolio, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to develop and implement portfolio strategies.Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to ensure the portfolio remains relevant and competitive.

Pricing Strategy : Develop and implement pricing strategies for existing and new products, taking into account market dynamics, competitive positioning, and consumer demand.Conduct pricing analysis and market research to assess price elasticity and optimize pricing structures for maximum profitability.Monitor and adjust pricing strategies as needed to respond to changes in market conditions and business objectives.

Market Analysis : Analyze sales data, market research, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization within the portfolio.Evaluate the performance of individual products and categories, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to inform strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain teams to align portfolio and pricing strategies with overall business objectives.Provide guidance and support to regional teams in implementing pricing initiatives and portfolio management strategies.Act as a subject matter expert on portfolio and pricing matters, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product / portfolio management, pricing strategy, or related roles within the consumer goods industry, preferably in tobacco or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and market research techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and regions.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry dynamics within the tobacco or related industries is a plus.
