Position Objective :
Lead the design, operation, and optimization of finished goods packaging processes within a fast-growing advanced manufacturing environment. This position oversees automated magnetizing, handling, crating, and palletizing systems—ensuring process reliability, efficiency, and quality. You’ll play a key role in integrating automation across packaging operations while driving continuous improvement in safety, throughput, and ergonomics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the design and operation of packaging lines, automation systems, and material handling processes.
- Ensure accurate, efficient, and safe packaging of finished products.
- Oversee automated magnetizing, transfer, and palletizing equipment.
- Maintain and update SOPs, FMEAs, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Partner with upstream and downstream teams to integrate automation solutions.
- Participate in equipment selection, FAT / SAT, and vendor management.
- Monitor quality and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Train operators and junior engineers on equipment, automation, and safety.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering (advanced degree preferred).5-10 years experience in packaging operations, automation, or material handling systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.Proficiency in designing and optimizing automated packaging lines.Familiarity with SOPs, FMEAs, and quality metrics for packaging processes.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience managing equipment procurement, vendors, and operator training.Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and process excellence.
