Process Engineer Packaging

Position Objective :

Lead the design, operation, and optimization of finished goods packaging processes within a fast-growing advanced manufacturing environment. This position oversees automated magnetizing, handling, crating, and palletizing systems—ensuring process reliability, efficiency, and quality. You’ll play a key role in integrating automation across packaging operations while driving continuous improvement in safety, throughput, and ergonomics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own the design and operation of packaging lines, automation systems, and material handling processes.
• Ensure accurate, efficient, and safe packaging of finished products.
• Oversee automated magnetizing, transfer, and palletizing equipment.
• Maintain and update SOPs, FMEAs, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Partner with upstream and downstream teams to integrate automation solutions.
• Participate in equipment selection, FAT / SAT, and vendor management.
• Monitor quality and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Train operators and junior engineers on equipment, automation, and safety.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.
