Senior Team Leader

Leads team members by managing and executing plant processes. Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals. Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, audit compliance and customer service are met. Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results. The position is very hands-on Senior Team Leaders are usually in the production area "on-their-feet" about 80% of the shift. Senior Team Leaders must be able to handle more complex roles such as Planning & Scheduling, Inventory Mgmt. & Ordering, Relief Leader for entire area / process, point persons for all shifts, supervisor of team leaders.

Qualifications : Supervisory and warehouse management skills. Required : 3+ years as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR associate's degree. Warehouse / logistics experience a plus. Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position. Ability to obtain a forklift certification. Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. Must possess a comprehensive understanding of further processing, inventory systems, and policies.
