We are seeking Low Volt Cable Technicians with a Minimum 2 years of experience working on commercial construction projects such as data centers, hospitals, schools, universities and office spaces. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth for reliable, high-performing individuals. This is a contract to hire opportunity for the right candidate. Work will be local to Birmingham.

Responsibilities :

Install Cat5 and Cat6 cabling in commercial environments

Perform fiber rough-in and terminations (DOE)

Complete rack and stack installations, including patch panels and cable dressing

Work on A / V, burglar / security, and fire alarm system installations

Lead and support a team while ensuring quality work with minimal supervision

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience in low voltage cabling for commercial projects

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is a plus

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to complete projects from start to finish

Must work well independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Requirements :

Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites

Must own basic electrical hand tools and PPE

Must have experience with low voltage installations

Must be able to pass a background check
