Job description

Job Summary :

This position exists to manage and oversee Supply Chain Operations for our Med / Surg and Surgical Services inventories. organizational shipping / receiving, and distribution of supplies throughout our network. This position is a member of the supply chain leadership team and is responsible to help develop processes and implement strategic goals for the department. Additionally, the person who fills this position will be responsible for the mentoring and training of the Supply Chain Operation's associates.

Job Description

Essential Responsibility :

1. Responsible for the logistics & distribution area's supply chain planning and operations to ensure the right supplies are available to support the operations of all departments.

2. Accountable for executing supply chain initiatives and goals with direct reports and collaborating with other supply chain personnel as needed.

3. Collaborates with supply chain leadership on budgeting and is accountable for expense reconciliation for operations.

4. Responsible for the supervision of the operations associates including training, scheduling, assignments, discipline and performance reviews.

5. Ensures and enforces good receiving practices including use of available automated tools, processes for inspection of shipment before acceptance, proper documentation for chain of custody when necessary, etc.

6. Ensures accuracy and discipline is maintained for perpetual inventory transactions. Provides guidance and enforces processes for the operation's associates to provide acceptable service levels to internal customers.

7. Develop and sustain a PAR maintenance program to include PAR level reviews and regular rounding helping to enhance communications between internal customers and supply chain. Ensures that PAR locations are managed properly and effectively by supply chain associates.

8. Will be the subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday Inventory module and any information related to the Med / Surg and Surgical Services perpetual inventories.

9. A primary supply chain point of contact for internal customers. Accountable for effective and reliable communication, particularly to clinical and non-clinical leadership.

10. Collaborate with supply chain leaders to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Education :

Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant degree

5+ years of applicable experience required.

License / Certification :

Preferred CMRP, SPSM
