    Job Summary and Qualifications

    You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated professional like you to be a part of our Nuclear Medicine team. Join us in our efforts to better serve our community!

    A few responsibilities of our Nuclear Medicine Tech include :

  • You will position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  • You will be performing procedures and assessing patients throughout and responding to the patient’s needs as appropriate
  • You will complete appropriate documentation for each study performed
  • You will participate in quality control and assessment activities on a daily basis
  • You will handle radiopharmaceuticals to include storage, dosage preparation / calculation, administration, and disposal
  • You will perform quality control, equipment calibration, and equipment maintenance
  • You will participate in the improvement of operational functions of the department
  • You will monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of care and practices; identifying opportunities for improvement through collaboration
  • The required job qualifications include :

  • Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred
